To ensure safe and reliable operation of a powerful 12 VDC motor, the following should be considered:
✅ Use battery cables with the correct dimension to handle high current.
✅ Ensure that all contact points are properly connected and in good condition.
✅ Check and maintain the connections regularly to avoid overheating and short circuits.Failure to do so may result in overheating and damage, which can lead to short circuits and serious risks to both the engine and electrical system.
The control panel controls and monitors the watermaker with functions for start/stop, pressure adjustment, and automatic and manual cleaning.
It includes a TDS meter for water quality, safety valves for pressure protection and automatic shut-off in case of pressure drop in the seawater pump.
For longer downtimes, typically over 3–7 days, a programmable self-cleaning function can be activated to extend the life of the membranes and minimize the risk of fouling.Parts included in the complete MAB Watermaker kit

How the system works
Seawater is sucked in via the seawater pump.
Pre-filtration removes particles (5 and 20 microns).
The high-pressure pump pushes the water through the RO membrane.
The membrane separates salt, viruses, bacteria and microparticles – the water that passes through becomes completely drinkable.
The drinking water is led to the tank (or to the tasting outlet).
The residual water (concentrate) is discharged.
The system displays everything in real time on the control panel: working pressure, water production, TDS value, flow and status lights
This is not included (due to every installation being different)
Battery cables from the boat to the system
Seawater penetration
Connection to the boat's existing water tank
